What is a Bioelements chemical peel? Is it painful?

A Bioelements chemical peel involves applying a gel-based product to the skin that contains various acids derived from plant sources such as sugar cane and various fruits, as well as charcoal. This completely natural product is left on for a few minutes and then neutralized… and that’s it!

As for pain, some say it burns, others say it tingles, or a combination of both. But all these sensations are very tolerable and only last a few minutes.

Why should I get a Bioelements chemical peel?

The Bioelements range offers three different peels containing lactic and glycolic acids in varying concentrations. Two of them also contain activated coconut charcoal. The peel your Bioelements aesthetician chooses will depend on your desired results. You can expect to see a real impact on acne control, a marked reduction in visible pores, and improved skin texture. You can also reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, lighten sun and hormone-induced pigmentation spots, and even feel your skin becoming firmer after just a few treatments.

Can we see results after just one treatment?

After just one Bioelement chemical peel, your complexion will be radiant and you will see an improvement. And to significantly increase the results, you can undergo a course of 6 or 8 treatments, with a 2-week interval between each treatment.

What skin types are suitable for a Bioelements chemical peel? Is it dangerous?

There are few contraindications. These are discussed during the health assessment and skin analysis prior to the chemical peel. Of course, to boost the results on your skin, you can work as a team with your Bioelements aesthetician by using complementary products at home.

With a Bioelements aesthetician, you run no risk! They receive private training and work with products approved by Health Canada. Peels used in beauty salons must not exceed a total acid concentration of 30%, otherwise they are not authorized in Canada. And Bioelements complies with this standard. Peels can slightly dehydrate the skin, but with the right moisturizer at home, this is no longer a problem.

Can you get microneedling treatment while pregnant?

No, because the skin of a pregnant woman is much more sensitive, so it is recommended to wait until after giving birth and even after finishing breastfeeding.

Why use a serum?

Thanks to its active and highly concentrated ingredients, it optimizes and boosts moisturizing, anti-aging, anti-blemish, purifying, and other skincare treatments. The serum has the ability to penetrate the different layers of the skin for immediate and long-term beneficial effects.
